I believe I can fly

Is belief a state of mind…thinking something IS, with or without empirical evidence? Can we act with purpose only if we believe? Seeing is believing OR believing is seeing? Why is it so much easier to believe in the bad? Is it because the truth requires change? Why do people stop believing? Know what the Voltaire has said? “Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe.” hmmmmmmmm would all the smarty-pants people leave all that they think they know at the door? The secret to having it all is believing you already do? Could it be that simple? Do we dislike people who don’t believe in us? Is that why ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ from Journey (1981) plays on? Supersize the classic ROCK encouragement please. Are you really half way there, if you believe? Wait what? Only half way? OK let’s’ sum this up…stop over thinking and just believe you can fly. PIF.
