Are we living too fast? Isn’t the most important decision in life what we do with the time that is given to us? For the love of mental health…let’s just go one day at a time…what’s our hurry? Maybe our thinking should be this: “What I do today is important because I am exchanging one day of my life for it.” hmmmmmmmm..if that doesn’t put things in perspective…like hurry up and take you time already. What happened to doing what makes our soul happy? I mean is anyone really ‘busy’ in this world?…isn’t it all about priorities? Perhaps we may want to start saluting each other with, ‘Take it easy’ instead of “hows it going.” I say the world can wait. Life not about the number of breathes you take, rather Life is about the moments that take your breath away? Wouldn’t it be so refreshing for all the meeting makers to engage us in serious ‘take my breath’ away strategies? …and while we’re at it let’s measure our performance goals on how many times we’ve been so inspired it literally takes our breath away. OK now you say I’m getting a little crazy…but am I? Is this time snobbery? If you’re going to take my time shouldn’t the exchange be worth the price? I want more bang for my buck and you should too. We really should take ‘taking our time’ more seriously. Ok let’s simplify…If encouragement is like oxygen…subtract busy from life’s little equation and take your time to BE someones air. PIF.
